Staff Physician Assistant for Dr. Alden
Ashley Michelsen, MMS, PA-C, is a board certified Physician Assistant licensed to practice medicine in the state of Illinois under physician supervision. She is able to prescribe medications and works directly with Dr. Alden in clinical, hospital, and operating room settings. Ashley focused her education and training on orthopaedics with emphasis in total joint reconstruction.
Born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Ashley received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with Highest Distinction from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She went on to receive her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Ashley joined the Hinsdale Orthopaedics team in October 2011. Her passion for orthopaedics stems from working as a physical therapy aid in college. She looks forward to working with Dr. Alden to provide the highest quality care for their patients.
