Dr. Hoepfner is highly skilled and trained in the evaluation and treatment of traumatic injuries to the shoulder, arm, elbow, wrist and hand, including work-related injuries. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures that allow his patients a rapid and functional recovery. As an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine, Dr. Hoepfner spent four years teaching residents and students hand and upper extremity surgery.
Dr. Hoepfner frequently lectures across the country, educating hand and orthopaedic surgeons on the use of the latest orthopaedic techniques. Dr. Hoepfner is dedicated to the individualized care of each patient, providing state-of-the-art treatment options, both non-operative and operative.
Following an orthopaedic surgery residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Hoepfner completed a Hand/Upper Extremity and Microvascular Surgery Fellowship at Brown University School of Medicine. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
