Injuries to the foot and ankle are extremely common and range in severity from mild to limb threatening. Common causes of foot and ankle injuries include sports-related injuries, falls from height, and motor vehicle accidents. It is very important for adult athletes who participate in sports to be proactive in order to prevent injury. Previous injuries can often develop into chronic problems if they're not properly and thoroughly rehabilitated.
