T. Lindley Pittman, MS, PA-C
Staff Physician Assistant for Dr. Lorenz
A valued member of the Hinsdale Orthopaedics medical staff since 1998, Mr. Pittman focuses his skills on spinal injury, pathology and treatment. Mr. Pittman is a board certified physician assistant, specializing in spinal disorders. He is part of a unique spine team including Dr. Lorenz, an orthopaedic spine surgeon, and Dr. Stanley Fronczak, a neurosurgeon specializing in spine care.
Pittman is a graduate of the Chicago Medical School/Finch University of Health Sciences, a National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) accredited program. His training focused on general surgery, trauma, orthopaedics and neurosurgery. His primary research interests include lupus, DNA/RNA sequencing in cancer research and development of viral materials for HIV treatment and stem cell research in spinal fusions.
Mr. Pittman is an active member of the Illinois Academy, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North American Spine Society. He teaches locally and nationally. In addition, he is a decorated United States Navy and Air Force veteran.
