Community Involvement
Hinsdale Orthopaedics has long been recognized as a pioneer in Sports Medicine Outreach Program Providers. We have offered Athletic Trainer Services and provided Team Physicians to area schools, professional and collegiate teams for nearly 40 years. Our physicians recognize that high-impact injuries can occur in many settings, both on and off the field, and are dedicated to all circumstances where our community involvement will provide superior outcomes and expert care. We remain current on the trends and incidents of Concussion care and work closely with teams to facilitate and evaluate these injury scenarios. Not only have our staff members provided direct patient care, but they have been recognized as Key Speakers and Contributors to the Athletic Training and Sports Medicine professions.
In addition to on the field evaluation and treatments, we have established the Sports Medicine Injury Clinic (SMIC) to help serve the needs of our athletic community. This clinic provides a setting where injured athletes can come and receive expert full-service care from physicians specializing in sports medicine. The SMIC is an open clinic providing urgent appointments to those who call on our dedicated Sports Injury Hotline (877.4HO.SMIC or 630.455.7122).
Hinsdale Othopaedics is dedicated to working with the community to promote healthy changes to support the health and wellbeing of families in our service areas. For over the past 60 years we have enjoyed giving back to the community by supporting events, programs, agencies, and sports teams in the area. Our primary areas of community involvement are: not-for-profit health programs, kids' health and activities, schools, and sports. Funds for our sponsorships and donations are provided by the Hinsdale Orthopaedic physicians and employees.
