Hand Therapy

Hinsdale Orthopaedics offers a unique treatment program for patients with hand and upper extremity injuries. The program identifies and meets the individual needs of patients, and a licensed therapist provides one-on-one care. The hand team is comprised of a certified hand therapist along with additional therapists who have received specialized training in hand therapy. The goal of the program is to increase the overall function of the hand and upper extremity to perform functional and vocational activities. Hinsdale Orthopaedics will keep the referral sources well informed of their patients' progress with concise, accurate documentation. The trained staff members and physicians work to assist with facilitating open communication between all parties to ensure that the desired outcome is achieved.
